The Nam Hai scores “Best Destination Spa” award

The Nam Hai has brought home one of this year’s Asia Spa & Wellness Gold Awards, less than a month after the introduction of a new spa menu at the premier resort in the central province of Quang Nam.

The accolade was announced at the annual Asia Spa & Wellness Festival, the region’s premier exhibition for the spa and wellness industry in Bangkok, Thailand. The seaside resort scooped the category of “Best Destination Spa,” which was voted by a panel of judges comprising notable socialites, editors of regional spa publications, tour operators and spa enthusiasts.

“What’s noteworthy about this award is that it was earned based upon what we used to offer,” said Herbert Laubichler-Pichler, the resort’s general manager. “Since the judges’ decision, we’ve actually improved our spa with the introduction of a menu long on singular treatments.”

The new menu includes The Nam Hai Indulgent Oriental Ritual, a three-hour experience that includes an aromatherapy foot polish, a four-hands jade massage designed to dissolve muscle tension and soothe the spirit, a Traditions D’Orient organic facial, an Asian-style foot massage and a Himalayan crystal body polish.

The choice of a bath strewn with rose petals while enjoying Champagne and canapés has also been added to the list of new spa options.

Owned by Indochina Capital and managed by GHM, The Nam Hai owes its spa concept to GHM’s corporate director of spa, Brenda Ramen, who drew from her travels in Asia when conceiving rituals and selecting products.

A tranquil lotus pond surrounds The Spa which features two spacious pavilions with eight spa villas, relaxation areas, steam showers and changing rooms. This facility has been nominated as ‘One of the World’s Top New Spas’ by Conde Nast Traveler (USA) and called one of the world’s ‘Top 75 Spas’ by Conde Nast Traveller (UK).

Day 1: Saigon Arrival

Day 2: Golf at Long Thanh Golf Club

Day 3: Saigon - Bo Chang Golf - Phan Thiet
Morning drive to Bo Chang Golf, it is 50 km away from the city. Experience 1 round of golf at the resort which offers golfers some of the most dramatic golf course scenery in southern Vietnam as it is located on a large wooded land plot on the banks of the Cloudy River Lake. Day 4: Golf at Novotel Ocean Dunes

It is an outstanding natural site with sea and wind swept sand dunes, tropical coastal breezes and fantastic ocean views. Day 5: Golf at Sealinks Golf
Today we will play a round of golf at the Sealinks Golf Phan Thiet - Sea Links is the second course in Phan Thiet, joining Ocean Dunes Golf Club as two jewels in this Vietnamese coastal town. Sea Links Golf Club is built on an area of 160 hectares on a cliff with wild and beautiful sand dunes. The golf course is practically at the sea level, just a few minutes from Full Moon Beach and with amazing views of the ocean below. The courses designers, Ronald Fream and Golfplan Company, highlight that the course retains much of the original terrain of white sand dunes. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Phan Thiet - Saigon - Hanoi
Morning transfer back to Saigon. We will go directly to the airport to catch late afternoon flight to Hanoi. Pick up and transfer to Hotel in Hanoi

Day 07: King's Island Golf Club
After breakfast. Drive to King’s Island. Enjoy a round of golf in one of the finest golf resort - King's Island Golf Resort - King’s Island Golf Club is a 36 hole golf resort in the outskirts of Hanoi and arguably the most scenic course in North Vietnam. Day 09: Phoenix Golf Resort
After having breakfast at hotel, we will drive to Hoa Binh, it is 60 km from Hanoi City. Start the day with a round at the Phoenix Golf Resort, is the biggest golf resort in Northern Province of Vietnam with total 54 holes(03 Courses) opened on 30th November 2006. In the afternoon, drive back to Hanoi. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 10 Tam Dao Golf Club
After breakfast, Transfer to Tam Dao Golf Club. Enjoy playing one round of golf (1* 18 Holes). Back to Hanoi and overnight in Hanoi

Day 11 Hanoi - Halong Bay
The highlight to end your golf tour is relaxing on Halong bay before saying goodbye to Vietnam. The wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic destinations that can not be missed. Heading out of the town we embark on the best junk here which called Violet junk for an exploration of the legendary bay. This exciting overnight cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Day 12: Halong Bay - Hanoi

Day 13: Hanoi departure
